Latauslista
The official Finnish Download Chart
for ÄKT, filed under Digital Design
A complete brand & identity redesign for TV, print & Web, as well as a dynamic music website with modern features that educate people about digital music. We received an Emma award (The Finnish Grammy) for our work in advancing the digital consumption of music.
ÄKT, the IFPI representative of Finland, wanted to help Finnish people move into consuming music digitally. Done late 2007, we designed a comprehensive brand and identity for The Official Finnish Download Chart, and at the heart of it all, the website Latauslista.fi.
We’ve been lucky to find in Nordkapp a partner that was able to build a service we’ve been planning for a long time.

Latauslista Website
The chart website is a major part of this ongoing project. Not only does the site include all the latest Web 2.0 features, such as open API’s, RSS and Twitter integration, it also educates people about digital music and device usage.
The site includes an extensive database of chart history for music fans and provides direct access to all Finnish download stores.
Latauslista themes
Since an official chart site cannot be designed to be in-line with any particular style of music, a number of different design themes are available for the user to choose from.
Brand definition
As is our standard practice in graphic design and branding, we delivered a brand manual that defines an exact baseline for any future brand touch points.
